What inspired the creation of your business, and how did you get your start?

I've been a beer fanatic all my life. When I started SingleCut, there were no breweries in Queens. We were the first to open in Queens since the days of Prohibition!

What makes your business unique?

We are a music-based brand; we only play vinyl in our Tap Room. All of our beers are named for bands, musical equipment, or songs. Our entire team is passionate and devoted to our cause. It's something you just feel when you visit. Also, our brewery is steps from Steinway Piano, and the proximity to such a prestigious brand that I grew up with - my parents are classical music enthusiasts - was one of the reasons I chose the location we're in. The band was also excited when we opened and gifted us a piano!

Are there dishes or drinks that you specialize in that you would like to highlight?

SingleCut has made a name for itself brewing two styles that have grown in popularity since our opening: East Coast style IPAs and Lagers/Pilsners. However, we brew a wide range of beers aside from those styles, including sours, stouts, Belgian styles, West Coast IPAs, etc.
